Development of a visual identity graphic system for the project Universo de Letras, a program of the direction board of Difusión Cultural of the UNAM to encourage reading. We created a basic graphic system based on a simple geometrical alphabet that enabled the integration of the variety of programs in the UNAM that encouraged culture and reading in Mexico. The fact that there where so many existing projects, exhibitions events and materials form different UNAM sectors, encouraged us to create a color based system that also included geometric shapes, grids and guides that allowed integration within them. We created a Brand book with simple graphic guidelines that would allow each designer from different UNAM sectors to follow our simple rules to enable optimum communication of each material.
